Understanding Carrier Status Indicators

< p > CertiAlert uses color - coded status indicators to help you quickly identify which carriers need attention.Understanding these statuses is crucial for maintaining compliance.

🟢 VALID(Green)

< p > All required documents are current with more than 30 days until the next expiration.

  • No immediate action required
  • < li > All insurance and documents are up to date < li > Carrier is compliant for shipments

    🟡 WARNING(Yellow)

    < p > One or more documents will expire within 7 - 30 days.

  • Automated reminders are sent to carriers
  • < li > You should follow up to ensure renewal < li > Carrier can still be used for shipments

    🟠 CRITICAL(Orange)

    < p > One or more documents will expire within 1 - 7 days.

  • Urgent action required
  • < li > Daily reminders are sent < li > Use carrier cautiously for new shipments < li > Have backup carriers ready

    🔴 EXPIRED(Red)

    < p > One or more required documents have expired.

  • Carrier should not be used for new shipments
  • < li > Contact carrier immediately < li > Remove from active carrier list until renewed < li > May result in compliance violations if used

    ⚪ MISSING(Gray)

    < p > Required documents have not been uploaded.

  • New carriers pending document upload
  • < li > Send onboarding link to carrier < li > Follow up if documents are overdue < li > Cannot be used until documents are provided < h2 > How Status is Calculated < p > The system automatically calculates status based on:

  • Review WARNING and CRITICAL carriers weekly
  • < li > Never use EXPIRED carriers for new shipments < li > Set up email alerts for status changes < li > Maintain backup carriers for each lane < li > Document your follow - up actions in carrier notes
